Brow Tattooing

At KGA, our approach to cosmetic tattooing is all about balance, symmetry and subtlety. Brow tattooing is a semi-permanent treatment designed to enhance your natural brows, giving definition and fullness without the harsh, overly sculpted look.

We specialise in a technique called feathering or microblading, where fine, hair-like strokes are tattooed into the skin to create a soft, realistic effect. Whether you're filling in sparse brows, correcting asymmetry or simply wanting a more polished look day to day, our focus is always on enhancing what’s already there. The result is natural, face-framing brows tailored to your unique features.

Pre & Post Treatment Care

Before your appointment, avoid caffeine, alcohol and blood thinners (including fish oil and aspirin) for 24 hours. Avoid waxing or tinting the brows in the week leading up to treatment. Let your natural brow shape grow in as much as possible so we can assess the ideal design. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using Roaccutane, brow tattooing is not suitable.

After your treatment, the area will appear darker for the first few days before softening into a more natural tone. Expect some mild flaking or dryness as the skin heals. Do not pick or scratch at any scabbing. Avoid heavy sweating, swimming, saunas and active skincare around the brows for at least 10 days. Apply the recommended aftercare ointment sparingly and avoid makeup on the brows during healing. A follow-up session is included and should be booked for 4 to 6 weeks later to perfect the shape and depth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Brow tattooing, also known as microblading or feathering, is a semi-permanent technique where pigment is implanted into the skin to mimic natural brow hairs.

Results typically last 12 to 24 months depending on your skin type, lifestyle and skincare habits. Annual touch-ups are recommended to maintain the shape and colour.

Most clients find it very tolerable. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimise discomfort throughout the session.

Yes. Our goal is always a natural result. We carefully match pigment to your hair and skin tone, and use fine strokes to blend seamlessly with your existing brows.

Feathering uses individual strokes for a natural look, while ombré brows are shaded for a soft powdery finish. We can combine techniques based on your preference.

The touch-up perfects the shape and colour once the brows have fully healed. It allows us to adjust any fading and ensure longevity of the result.

Yes, but we recommend waiting until the brows are fully healed. We can guide you on maintenance during your follow-up.

Yes, although results may fade faster on oily skin. We’ll customise your treatment and give tailored advice based on your skin type.

We can assess existing pigment and determine whether correction, colour refresh or removal is needed. A consultation is essential in this case.

We take an artistry-meets-anatomy approach. Your brows are designed with precision, personalised to your features and delivered with the same clinical care you expect across all KGA treatments.
