Laser for Melasma

Melasma is a complex form of pigmentation often triggered by hormones, heat, sun exposure and inflammation. It typically appears as symmetrical brown or grey patches across the cheeks, forehead or upper lip and can be difficult to treat with traditional lasers or topical products alone. At KGA, we use the Enlighten laser by Cutera to treat melasma with a precise, low-inflammatory approach that protects skin health while gradually fading unwanted pigment.

Unlike heat-based lasers that can aggravate melasma, the Enlighten laser uses ultra-short picosecond and nanosecond pulses to gently break up pigment without triggering excess inflammation. This makes it a safer and more effective option for melasma-prone skin.

Whether you're experiencing sun spots, freckles, melasma or post-inflammatory pigmentation, this treatment offers a safe and effective solution. The Enlighten laser breaks up pigment particles which are then naturally cleared by the body, revealing clearer, brighter skin with each session.

Safely reduce stubborn hormonal pigmentation with advanced laser technology designed for delicate skin.

After treatment, skin may feel slightly warm and appear pink or flushed for a few hours. Pigmented areas may temporarily darken before fading.
