Microneedling

Microneedling is one of our favourite skin-first treatments for improving texture, tone and overall skin health. By creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, this treatment activates your body’s natural healing response and triggers fresh collagen and elastin production where you need it most. The result is stronger, smoother, more resilient skin with a healthy, natural glow.

At KGA, we use medical-grade microneedling technology to safely treat concerns like fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores and uneven tone, all with minimal downtime and no injectables. This is a regenerative approach that respects your skin’s natural function while delivering real, lasting results.

Pre & Post Treatment Care

Before your microneedling session, we recommend stopping the use of active skincare ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, BHAs and vitamin C for at least 3 to 5 days. Avoid direct sun exposure and skip any self-tanning products in the week leading up to treatment. If you have any active breakouts or open wounds in the treatment area, please let us know ahead of time. On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean skin and no makeup.

After treatment, your skin may appear red and feel warm for up to 48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Avoid makeup, active ingredients and any exfoliating treatments for at least 3 days. Keep the skin well hydrated using a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturiser and apply SPF daily, starting the next morning. Steer clear of exercise, saunas or any heat exposure for 48 hours. If you experience any unusual irritation or concerns, contact us for support.
