Skin Resurfacing Laser

Whether you’re looking to soften fine lines, reduce scarring, or rejuvenate rough and sun-damaged skin, laser resurfacing offers a powerful, clinically backed way to restore a more even, youthful complexion. At KGA, we use advanced fractional laser technology to precisely target the surface layers of the skin, stimulating collagen renewal while improving tone and texture.

This non-surgical treatment resurfaces the skin by creating micro-channels that trigger a natural healing response. Over time, skin becomes smoother, firmer and visibly more radiant. It’s ideal for those looking to treat the signs of ageing, reduce the appearance of large pores, acne scars or pigmentation, or simply boost overall skin health.

Frequently Asked Questions

This treatment is designed to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, minimise pores, smooth acne scarring and fade pigmentation caused by ageing or sun damage.

Fractional laser energy creates micro-injuries in the upper layers of the skin, stimulating new collagen production and resurfacing damaged areas. The skin heals over the following days, resulting in a clearer, firmer surface.

You may feel heat and tingling during the procedure, but most clients find it tolerable. A topical numbing cream can be applied before treatment to improve comfort.

Recovery time depends on the depth and intensity of treatment. Expect 3 to 7 days of redness and flaking. Lighter treatments may result in minimal downtime, while deeper resurfacing can take longer to heal.

Improvements in tone and texture can be seen within two weeks, with continued benefits over the following 8 to 12 weeks as collagen rebuilds.

Many clients see visible improvements after one session. For more significant concerns like scarring or deep wrinkles, a series of 2 to 4 treatments spaced several weeks apart may be recommended.

Laser resurfacing is most effective on lighter skin tones. For deeper complexions, we offer alternative options such as pico laser or tailored peels that provide resurfacing benefits without increasing risk of pigmentation.

Avoid sun exposure, active skincare, heat (such as saunas or hot yoga), and touching or picking at your skin during the healing phase. Always follow your post-treatment instructions carefully.
